Singer Sinead O’Connor has announced she is going to be a granny.
Sinead, 48, revealed the news while performing in Perth over the weekend. While introducing her song The Healing Room, Sinead said:
“I usually dedicate this song to my daughter, but I recently found out she’s having a baby in July, so I’ll dedicate this to my daughter’s baby.”

“It’s great when you’re going to be a granny, you don’t care that you look old!,” she added.
While many believed it was Sinead’s 18 year-old-daughter Rosin that was having a baby, Sinead revealed it’s actually her son.
“It’s my 27 year old son Jake and his beautiful girlfriend Lia,” Sinead clarified,
“I am so delighted!!! Always wanted to be a granny. In fact that’s the only reason I had kids (joking),” she wrote on her Facebook page.
