Sinead O’Connor has called for all marriage to be outlawed – insisting it’s “not natural”.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer said she can’t understand why anyone wants to wed, insisting monogamy isn’t right.
“I think they should outlaw all marriage. I don’t know why anyone wants to get married,” she said.

“Instead of campaigning for or against gay marriage, I think we should campaign against all marriage.
“It’s not natural, monogamy and all. But that’s just me.”
The Wicklow star made the comments when asked whether she believes gay marriage should be allowed, by GCN.
And Sinead said she finds it horrible to see gay couples in Ireland afraid to even hold hands in public.
“It’s appalling that no gay couples will walk around holding hands,” she added.

“But sometimes I wonder if the issue in Ireland is not homosexuality, but sexuality itself.
“There’s such a repressed sexuality in this country and people, when they think of homosexuality, just think of the sexual act.
“They think that’s all there is to being gay. I think they get uncomfortable, because it’s made them think of sex at all. That’s the larger issue.”
