The Sculpted by Aimee team have surprised Aimee Connolly in the sweetest way ahead of her wedding.
The makeup artist and entrepreneur is set to marry her longtime love John Greene today.
The couple will tie the knot at the luxurious Château de Varennes, located in the beautiful Burgundy region of France amongst sprawling vineyards.
Ahead of her French wedding, the Sculpted team curated an adorable video of Aimee’s closest friends and family wishing her well for her big day and a life of happiness with John.
It begins with a clip of Aimee’s mum Clare, who says: “Oh God Amsie, I can’t believe my little baby Aimee Connolly is getting married. Oh my God love, the last 30 years have just gone in a haze.”
“I am just – I can’t tell you love, bursting with love and pride for you. All I wish for you pet is just to have the most amazing day. It’ll be such a special day, and I’m just so happy for you lovie. I can’t wait to celebrate with ya!”
Aimee’s close friend Mark Rogers, aka MR Beauty, said: “Hi Aimee! Just thought I’d send a little video for yourself and John to say I hope you are excited about not only your wedding day, but your life together.”
Mark continued: “We all can’t wait for it. If I had one piece of advice, it’s that you just party the night away and enjoy every single little bit of it.”
Aimee’s close friend Tara O’Farrell, who is acting as her bridesmaid, said: “I can’t believe the day is finally here after all of the planning and excitement. I’m so excited for you both, you’re a gorgeous couple and so in love.”
“My one piece of advice would be to never go asleep on an argument!”
Clémentine MacNeice said: “Hey Aimee! We are very, very excited for your wedding day and all the few days of partying. I’m so excited to see you walk up the aisle, it’s gonna be such a special few days with all the people that you love, so enjoy every last moment of it. Can’t wait, love you!”
Elsewhere, James Patrice said: “Aimee and John – just wanted to wish you the very best of luck for the wedding and for your life and everything.”
“My one bit of advice would be, Aimee – don’t do your own makeup on your wedding day, you’re not great. Dunno why you bother really, maybe get someone else? I can do it!,” he continued to joke.
Finally, the Sculpted team concluded the video by saying: “Happy wedding day Aimee and John!,” before cheering.
