Samantha Mumba has revealed she’s planning to write a poignant email to her daughter each year on her birthday.
The Dublin singer has started up an email account that she’ll send a message to each year for her soon-to-be born child.
The 32-year-old, who is due to welcome the tot into this world in coming weeks with husband Torray Scales, will then allow her to open the account when she gets older.
Expecting: Samantha shows off baby bump
She said: “For my little girl, once we have decided on her name, I will be setting up an email address for her.
“Every year on her birthday I am going to write her an email and attach pictures of her special moments throughout the year.
“And close family members might send her emails too. When she is older I will give her the email address and the password. I think it will be nice for her to have.”
Ready to pop: Samantha has set up email account
Samantha will also be providing for her daughter’s future by setting up a savings account.
She said: “On a more practical note, we will also be setting her up with a savings account that cannot be touched until she is at least 18.
“Just something to put a few bob away here and there that will add up over the years.
“My grandad did that for me at the post office and it has always struck me how thoughtful it was.”
