Australian actor Sam Neill has revealed he got acting advice from A-list actor Liam Neeson.
Although the BBC star was born in Belfast, he admitted he had to get a helping hand perfecting his Northern Ireland accent from Liam and Cold Feet actor James Nesbitt.
“I had one session with Liam and one with Jimmy [James Nesbitt], who are good friends,” he said.

“Those two grew up only a few miles away from each other in Co Antrim, but they have entirely different accents,” he told The Age paper.
The Tudors star admitted the pair were very helpful preparing him for his role.
“They were very useful and kind to me, and encouraging too, because despite my roots,” he revealed.
“It’s very daunting when you take on an accent like that.”
