Ryan Tubridy has insisted that this week’s Late Late Show will be a sober affair.
There was a very mixed reaction to last week’s Valentine’s special which caused uproar online.
“I was down in the wardrobe department and said, ‘Buy me the most sober suit known to man,'” he said.

The presenter joked that they would have only priests in the audience, following the backlash from Friday’s show.
“[The tie] has got to be ‘Good evening, we’re back. The adults are back in the room,'” he told 2FM’s Breakfast Republic.
“It was insane but a lot of fun.”
