Caitriona Perry has announced she’s expecting her second child.
The notoriously private star confirmed her pregnancy after viewers spotted her growing baby bump on RTÉ News this week.
Sharing a close up shot of flowers on social media, Caitriona wrote: “Just wanted to say a quick thank you to the many keen-eyed RTÉ viewers who have been in touch with good wishes.”

“Well spotted, I am indeed expecting some more news of my own later this year,” she added alongside a heart emoji.
The 41-year-old was inundated with well wishes in the comment section.
Maia Dunphy commented, “Oh that’s wonderful news!! ❤️❤️,” and Nuala Carey wrote, “Congratulations Caitriona ❤️ Wonderful news.”
Caitriona already shares a daughter, who was born in 2019, with her husband – whose name is unknown.
The broadcaster has been presenting RTÉ News since January 2018, after she returned from her post as the RTÉ News Washington correspondent in 2017.
