Rory McIlroy has chosen an Irish venue for his upcoming nuptials.
The top golfer will wed PGA golf expert Erica Stoll in one of his favourite resorts – Ashford Castle in Mayo.
The pair were only spotted there over the Christmas holidays this year as well as the year before, toasting in the new year together at the lavish venue.

According to the Irish Mail On Sunday, sources have revealed Rory and Erica “really fell in love” with the resort as a wedding venue, with rumours they could tie the knot as soon as this New Year’s Eve.
Rory proposed to the blonde in Paris last December. This isn’t the first time Rory has been engaged, he was set to wed tennis player Caroline Wozniacki but called off the wedding last minute after the invitations had gone out.
