Ronan Keating has posted a heartfelt tribute to Stephen Gately.
The singer passed away on October 10th 2009 in his home in Majorca from a undiagnosed heart condition.
The pair worked together in one of Ireland top boy bands, Boyzone, with Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch who posted a message about their friend just a few weeks ago.
Ronan shared the emotional message on his Instagram.
“Hey Steo. ‘A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength but by the strength of his heart,'” he wrote. “Miss ya bro.”
The quote Ronan used was from the much loved Disney film Hercules.
Ronan took time out of his busy schedule while touring to meet some of his biggest fans.
