Now Robert – who played Darren in Love/Hate – has confirmed they are dating.

When asked who the last girl he saw in the nude was, he replied: “It was a girl called Sofia.”

And asked if he called her back, the 26-year-old said: “I did, I did, I call her back everyday. She’s my lovely other half.”

The 32-year-old is an an Algerian dancer and actress, who has previously starred in music videos for Madonna, Usher, Ne-Yo, Rihanna and Chris Brown.

It comes after Robert previously admitted he had given up on love after finding it impossible to be away from a partner for extended periods of time.

He said: “I’ve been in one long-term relationship in my life, I found it very difficult to be away from that person for any period of time.

“So when we were away from each other it was crippling, it was really difficult. It was really hard.

“I did a film in Belfast and it was a six-and-a-half week stint and she came over once, about half way through, and it nearly killed me.

“And I was going off at her, I was giving her s**t because I was being alone and going crazy and just needed somebody to cuddle, basically.”

His new love has been made easier, after Robert revealed he finally feels that he can walk the streets in Ireland after the Love/Hate fame has worn off a tad.

He told 2FM: “I think it has calmed down a bit, I was back for my dear sister’s engagement party about four or five weeks ago in Portlaoise.

“It was quite chilled. People were still asking for photographs and staff. The intense edge has been taken off it. I felt slightly over-exposed.

“You had to adapt yourself where you went, you couldn’t wander up Camden Street on a Friday or Saturday night.”
