Aoibhin Garrihy has shared some pictures from her journey to Mount Everest Base Camp.
The former Fair City actress is accompanying her husband John on his journey to the top of Everest, but she is only trekking to base camp.
Previously she explained, “I’m going to trek to base camp with John. I hate the idea of saying goodbye to him at the airport.”
The couple trekked together in Nepal before, and it didn’t end well. “I was hit by altitude sickness and I didn’t shower for two weeks as there isn’t the facilities. That was a real test of the relationship.”
