Now Sinead O'Connor insists she WILL be joining Sinn Fein

Just this week Sinead O’Connor claimed she would not be joining Sinn Fein after all, but now the singer says things with Gerry Adams are back on track.

The Nothing Compares 2 U songstress admitted that the party leader sent her a nice email, and she believes in Sinn Fein once again.

“Extraordinarily supportive e mail from Gerry Adams yesterday,” she wrote on her website.

“Saying far from it being the case he might be upset by conversations I have been instigating, Sinn Fein is a party which welcomes new ideas.

“And that it is great to have members who wish to create debate as to how we might go forward as one country and that artists have an important role to play in such debates.
