Michele McGrath has opened up about how life has changed since her boyfriend Cathal Pendred retired from the UFC.
The fighter recently announced that he was calling it quits on his fighting career after 9 years and Michele revealed that the couple are trying to adjust to a “normal” life.
“It hasn’t been normal for three years but normality is starting to creep in, it definitely is,” she said.

However, the aspiring singer isn’t too sure how she feels about normality.
“I don’t know if I like normal, Cathal definitely doesn’t like normal either,” she told The Nicky Byrne Show on 2fm.
“It gives him a bit of time now that he’s retired from the UFC to concentrate on other things.”
The Dublin native explained that Cathal quit so he could pursue his other amibitions.

“I think he just felt that he had lost his passion for it. He has other goals and dreams that he wants to achieve,” she said.
“He’s the type of person that if he sets his mind to doing something, he wont stop until he’s achieved it.”
Michele also confirmed that Cathal will be heading to Las Vegas to watch pal Conor McGregor’s highly anticipated face-off against Jose Aldo.
