Marty Morrissey has denied that he is a ladies man.

“I enjoy people, male and female, and enjoy the banter but that is just my personality.”

The GAA star met his long-term partner Liz twenty years ago while working in Cork radio and admitted that she’s a very private person.

“She is a very private person,” he said, before adding that she is: “my rock and confidante”.

Marty dismissed reports that he fancies stunners Georgia Salpa or Cindy Crawford whom he attempted to interview at the Beijing Olympics.

“I love having a bit of fun, having a bit of craic. I never met Georgia Salpa and I only saw the back of Cindy Crawford,” he told the RTE Guide.

Meanwhile, despite being one of the most famous faces on Irish TV, the RTE star doesn’t see himself as a celebrity.

“I don’t entertain the whole celebrity thing and I wouldn’t see myself as one,” he said.
