Maria Walsh has revealed that she’d like to become a gay wedding planner.
The Rose of Tralee winner is currently in talks with RTE – however she would also like to tap into her business side with weddings.
“RTE and myself have been in cahoots but again there’s nothing concrete,” she said.

“I think there is a nice €20 million revenue for same sex marriage in terms of wedding planning and that’s what my background is in, so maybe that as an entrepreneurial start-up.”
“I think there is a great opportunity for it. My background is in that. Ireland is a known destination for scenery and my background is in photography shoots and events.”
“Or keynote speaking, something that I have learned this year that I could marry into my previous experience so I don’t know.”
