Love Island USA fans are saying the same thing about Maura Higgins, after she filmed a hilarious sketch for the show.
The Longford native shot to fame after appearing on the UK version of dating show back in 2019, and now she’s running the social media for the US series.
On Wednesday, the show posted a promo clip for Love Island’s infamous Casa Amor twist, with Maura impersonating a flight attendant in the video.
The reality star perfectly mimicked a cabin crew member in the sketch, as she teased some “sexy features” on board the Casa Amor flight.
Fans were clearly impressed by her impersonation, and quickly took to the comment section calling for producers to make her the main host of the programme.
One fan wrote, “Please just make her the host 😂 👏🔥,” while another commented, “This is so cute 😍😍😍 @maurahiggins wish you were the host!”
On Sunday night, the former ring girl also delighted viewers when she strutted into the villa to host a challenge.
After appearing in the episode, Maura was hotly tipped to replace the show’s host Sarah Hyland.
According to BoyleSports, Maura has been backed into 10/11 from 5/4 to host the next season of the show.
Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said: “Love Island fans are calling for Maura Higgins to front the American version… the reaction from her appearance in USA suggests we could be seeing a lot ‘Maura’ her!”
Modern Family star Sarah began hosting Love Island USA last summer.
Maura’s Love Island return came after she shut down rumours she’s set to appear on the all-stars version of the show.
She told Goss.ie in a recent interview: “I can’t see myself ever doing that again, no. I’ve been asked, but I’ve said no.”
“I just think, I’ve done it once, I’ve had my time on Love Island. I don’t really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future.”
