Louis Walsh has slammed Strictly Come Dancing, insisting it’s “boring.”
The Mayo native is set to return to the small screen this year with a new season of the X Factor where he will return as a judge with Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell, and Nicole Scherzinger.
“Listen, I watched Strictly last year. I found it boring. I got bored after a while,” the music manager said.

The singing contest judge admitted that X Factor is far more talked about than the dancing competition.
“It was like, ‘Oh God, who are they and what are they doing?'” he told the Sun.
“The X Factor is the most talked-about show on TV – everyone talks about The X Factor, no-one talks about Strictly.”
This isn’t the first time Louis has slammed a dance contest as he’s said that RTE’s new show Dancing With The Stars “couldn’t afford me.”
