Lisa Fitzpatrick has revealed her secrets of how to make a marriage work.
The TV star has been married for over 14 years to husband Paul Fitzpatrick and revealed that they still fancy each other now as much as ever.
“What’s really worked for us is that I respect Paul,” she told Goss.ie.

“I still fancy him, I wouldn’t be with him if I didn’t. We don’t try and make it work, we’re really lucky that it just does work.”
“We still have a laugh together, I still make an effort for him. I still dress up for him. I still go to bed in fleece pjamas, I’m not going in negligee’s every night going, ‘hey baby, welcome home’, but it’s about respecting each other.”
“We kiss each other every day, I have a big thing about that, Paul’s not allowed to leave the house without kissing me. We still go on dates one night a week and we love it,” she said.
The TV3 regular was chatting at the Dare2B Different Style Awards at The Beacon Hotel, Dublin.

Meanwhile, the stylist admitted that she would love to host her own makeover show and isn’t afraid to admit that when it comes to her career, it’s “all about me”.
“I would like to do a makeover show. I would love to do a show on nutrition, hair, make-up and real women,” she told Goss.ie.
“I’d love to do a kind of Trinny and Susannah show, I’d love to do that with another person, that’s something that’s on my wishlist.”
“With my career, I’m really selfish. I think about myself all the time. I think about my husband and my kids all the time but when it comes to my career, it’s all about me.”
