Xpose star Lisa Cannon’s fiance has been hailed a hero – after catching a crook trying to steal a handbag.
The former rugby player spotted a female thief nabbing another woman’s Michael Kors bag and making a quick getaway down Grafton Street.
But the Welshman sprinted after the robber – before nabbing her and allowing the Gardai to come and make an arrest.

And TV3 star Lisa – who has been calling him Captain Cymru since his heroics – said she was extremely proud of her man.
“He was on the Luas and it was coming into Stephen’s Green when he saw a woman putting her hand into another woman’s handbag.
“As soon as the tram stopped, she ran off. The woman didn’t even notice but Richard did and said she went flying down Grafton Street with this Michael Kors bag.

“Richard was shouting, ‘Stop her’ but nobody did so he took after her himself and managed to catch up with her and hold onto her until the Gardai came,” she told the Herald.
“The woman got all her stuff back, she was over the moon, she couldn’t thank Richard enough.”
It comes as Lisa is working on planning her wedding for 2015 with Richard.
She exclusively told Goss.ie last week that she could be having it in the same place Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams tied the knot.
