Lance Armstrong pulls out of Dublin event last minute

Lance Armstrong has pulled out of a Dublin event last minute.

Just 24 hours before the cyclist was meant to speak at the One Zero Conference, but told organisers that he will no longer be attending.

According to PunditArena.com, organisers of the event got communication from his rep saying he would not be attending due to “legal reasons”.

“He was no longer willing to travel to Ireland and participate in the planned interview with Ewan MacKenna,” organisers said.

“We are extremely disappointed that Armstrong has withdrawn at the last minute from appearing at One Zero.

“He has let us down, he has let his fans down,” said co-founder of One Zero Rob Harnett.

Journalist Ewan MacKenna also took to Twitter to air his grievances.

It comes after Lance had a tense interview with Ger Gilroy on Off The Ball earlier this month.
