Kerry Katona chatted to Jenny Greene and Nicky Byrne on their RTÉ 2fm show today.
Remarking on her former bandmates in Atomic Kitten not wanting her back in the group Kerry joked, “I think they might have bipolar.”
She has had considerable struggles with the condition over the years herself but was in great spirits as she told the presenters that she has been off her medication for a year now and has never felt better.
The mother-of-four also discussed how Ireland was her “safe haven” when battling drug addiction.
She already revealed that her battle with drugs began when she was 14 and her mother gave her speed under the pretence that it was sherbert.
The former pop star said that being in Ireland helped her stay away from drugs but that she had a much more difficult time avoiding them in England, “if you lie with dogs you get fleas.”
Brian McFadden married the singer when she was 21 and they divorced two years later after having two daughters.
Now 37-years-old she said that that “was the marriage I never got over.”
She joked that she’d be in Krystle tomorrow night if anyone was looking for her but later said that no Irish men need bother coming near her as she doesn’t get along with them.
