A neighbour of Jim Corr has been arrested for allegedly posting soiled knickers through his letter box.
Officers have questioned a pensioner of claimed of harassing the star in the gated Crawfordsburn estate in Co Down.
It is understood that The Corrs guitarist had put up security cameras to catch the person in the act after a campaign against him.
The Dundalk-born musician, 50, had his car damaged, and post stolen from his plush apartment.

Sources told the Irish Mirror tensions on the estate exploded three years ago after a row over cutting down a section of trees escalated.
Other cars have been damaged and dog poo put into letter boxes on the estate, where homes can sell for around €500,000.
A source told the Mirror: “It’s hard to believe what has gone on down here. There have been attacks on people’s properties and cars have been scraped.

“Then people started getting underwear posted through their letter boxes. Jim Corr was one victim and set up video cameras to catch whoever it was.”
PSNI Inspector Roberta Morris confirmed a file had been sent to the PPS on a “70-year-old from the Crawfordsburn area”.
She added: “He was arrested on November 4 on suspicion of harassment, theft, criminal damage and interference with mail to the detriment of another.”
