Jim Carrey is set to make his first public appearance since the death of his Irish girlfriend Cathriona White on Sunday at the Golden Globe  Awards.
The American actor will present an award at the event this weekend, marking his first appearance since the Tipperary native took her own life in September.
The 52-year-old and the make-up artist had been dating on and off before her death with Jim flying to Tipperary to attend her funeral.

Jim has been keeping a low profile since Cathriona’s passing and has stayed off social media.
His most recent tweet remains a silhouette of the couple embracing with the caption “Love cannot be lost” from October.
The actor released a statement following Cathriona’s death where he described himself as being “shocked and deeply saddened” by the death of his “Irish flower”.
