The Dubliners revealed that even now they received harsh criticism from the media but say they are used to it from being bullied when they were growing up.

“In school people would say stuff about us from afar, and make up stuff about us,” they said on TV3’s Livin’ With Lucy.

“Even still we’re being bullied by people. Everyday life is people looking down on you.

“Throughout our whole life there has always been someone there picking on us. Even when we got such harsh media, when we reached fame it was nothing to us because it’s always been in our face.”

Jedward also opened up to Lucy about their split from manager Louis and said they were “the most financially beneficial [act] of his career.”
