Spencer Matthews’ BFF and former Made in Chelsea co-star Jamie Laing has revealed the real reason why Spencer married Vogue Williams in secret.
The couple had a secret wedding in Scotland earlier this summer, and only their closest friends and family were invited to the ceremony.
Sadly, Jamie didn’t secure an invite to their wedding, but he’s insisted that he’ll be front and centre at their second wedding – which they’ll have after Vogue gives birth to their first child.
On why the couple didn’t just wait to wed until after their baby is born, Jamie dished, “They had a small wedding with just close family because they didn’t want their baby to be born out of wedlock.”
Vogue is due to give birth to a baby boy in late August/early September – and the couple are planning to have a big wedding after their newborn is welcomed into the world.
“I think they’ll have another bigger wedding at a later date,” Jamie told OK! Magazine.
The couple started dating in March 2017, and announced their engagement at the beginning of February 2018.
