Irish Influencer Bonnie Ryan has revealed the reality show she was asked to go on.
The daughter of the late RTÉ legend Gerry Ryan has opened up about being asked to go on not one, but two reality shows.
In a video posted to TikTok, Bonnie spoke about being approached for The Only Way Is Essex and Love Is Blind.

She began the video by saying: “So one of the casting people for Love Is Blind slid into my DMs and it reminded me that this is not the first time something like this has happened.”
“Let’s back it up to a few years ago when one of the casting people for The Only Way Is Essex slid into my DMs and I ended up doing a phonecall with them”
“It was a few years ago and they DM’d me on Instagram and they were like ‘We are the casting people for The Only Way Is Essex, we are coming to Dublin and we would love to talk to you about an opportunity for the show.”
“At the time I had actually watched the show all the time so I was like ‘Hmm this sounds interesting, I’ll do a call with them and just see what they say.'”
“Anyway I got on the call and they basically said they wanted me to be a love interest for the guys when they were on their night out, they were gonna put the guys in a nightclub- I think it was Lillie’s Bordello,” she explained.
“They wanted me to be there and go up chat to the guys and see if anything happened and I was like ‘That’s simply not happening.'”
“1. I would just never do something like that, but also I was going out with John already.”
“Aswell when you’re asked to do something like that you have to really think ‘What am i getting to of this?’ ‘Why would I do something like that that’s not gonna further the career path I have chosen- It’s just me randomly going on a show and seeing do any of the guys fancy me.”
“I’m pretty sure all of them had girlfriends at the time, so was I just going to stir up sh*t?”
“Anyway, I politely declined and said ‘Thank you for the offer but I just don’t think I’m the best suited for this job.”
“I had to laugh because then this week someone from Love Is Blind got onto me to see would I be interested in talking to them about an opportunity for the show.”
“I was just like ‘Guys, No'” as she gestured towards her wedding ring.
“Anyways I just left them on seen because that is definitely not something that I’m ever gonna be wanting or willing to partake in.”
“It’s so funny I’m like ‘Did they not look at any of my videos and see that I have a wedding ring on?”
“Although people do go on it who are shady as f*ck.”
