Irish influencer Belle Azzure has revealed she’s “facing a tough recovery” after welcoming her second child.
The blogger, whose real name is Dearbhla Toal, and her husband Harry Silke welcomed a baby boy named Oisín on November 10.
The couple already share a son named Cillian, born in June 2021.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Dearbhla wrote: “Facing another tough recovery. Carbon copy of my last postpartum which I kind of expected but you always live & hope it might be different.”
“No sugar coating it, it’s been tough, navigating breastfeeding & healing without pain relief is not easy. (My tummy can’t tolerate bf friendly medicine & bf doesn’t allow for anything else) but every day will bring slow & small improvements and these tough days will be a distant memory soon enough.”
“Sharing in case anyone else is finding the early days tough. Things do get better.”
“So grateful for this man & the Holles St angels/midwives the past few days. Perspective is everything, very very grateful for my 2 boys & feel so lucky.”
Dearbhla announced the birth of her second child on Sunday, November 12.
Sharing a sweet photo of her newborn, the influencer wrote: “Welcome to the world Oisín Silke 🌎💙. 10/11/2023 ✨. Our hearts have doubled in size 🥺💙💙.”
A host of well-known faces took to the comments section to congratulate the doting couple, including Dearbhla’s best pal Louise Cooney, who recently welcomed her first child.
Louise commented: “😭😭😭😭 too many emotions running through my veins. Jude’s bestie for life ❤️ love you! Gorgeous pics xxx.”
