Irish influencer and dancer Adam Fogarty has opened up about landing a role in the Barbie movie.
The 25-year-old appears in a scene alongside Ryan Gosling in Greta Gerwig’s much-anticipated Barbie film, which will be released in Irish cinemas this Friday, July 21st.
After attending the Irish premiere screening of Barbie on Wednesday night, where he received huge cheers from the audience, Adam shared a sweet post on Instagram about his experience.
“What a dream getting to be a part of this movie, memories that will be cherished forever,” he wrote.
“Huge thank you to @incartistsworld for the opportunity & @movejenmove @lisa.welham for creating the most safe & encouraging atmosphere throughout rehearsals & on set.
“All aspiring performers around Ireland, please never hesitate to follow your dreams no matter how big & bold they are, I promise you they can be reached,” he added.
During a previous interview with Goss.ie, Adam teased his role in the Barbie movie, and told us: “I was one of the dancers in the film, and I did get to see some of the actors…”
“I got to see them in their costumes, looking incredible. All I know is that it is going to be a spectacle. It’s going to be incredible, it’s going to be spectacular. Definitely.”
This isn’t the first time Adam has appeared in a major blockbuster, as he also landed a role in Disney’s Disenchanted movie in 2021.
