Lauren Whelan has candidly revealed if she’s ever had cosmetic surgery or fillers.
The Carlow native has become one of the most popular influencers in Ireland in recent years, with a following of 1.7million on TikTok and 115k on Instagram.
Despite the pressures that come with being a social media star, Lauren has insisted she’s never enhanced her appearance with surgery, fillers or botox.
The 21-year-old made the confession during a Q&A on Instagram, after a follower asked if she’s had any work done.
Lauren replied: “Nope! Personally for me I don’t think it’s a good idea…”
“Sometimes I look at myself and compare myself to others and think oh would I look better with a bit of lip or jaw filler.”
“But I’m quite insecure, so I feel like if I got one thing done, I’d keep finding other things wrong with myself and it would just end up in a vicious cycle and I’d end up not looking like myself at all,” she admitted.
“I have nothing against it at all, and yano I’ll probs end up getting a bit of Botox or something later in life but for now I’m happy how I am.” [sic]
