Hollywood star Jonah Hill: ‘The people of Dublin are really special’

Jonah Hill has revealed that he thinks the people of Dublin are “really special”.

The War Dogs star has visited our Irish capital a number of times to promote films, having most recently travelled to Ireland in 2014 to promote 22 Jump Street with Channing Tatum – and it seems the people of Ireland have made quite the impression.

“I want to get back [to Ireland] so bad, I really love Dublin,” he told RTÉ Entertainment.

“I think it’s a special place, the people are really special.”

Gushing about how much he loves Dublin, he admitted that not only are Dubliners “special”, but they’re also “self-deprecating, very funny” and “good to be around”.

“Honestly, I judge a place by the people, and in Dublin the people have a really special demeanour, very self-deprecating, very funny, just good to be around.”

The news comes after Jonah admitted that he’d love to shoot the next Jump Street film in Trinity College.
