Holly Carpenter has slammed harsh new break-up trend “ghosting”.
The Dublin model insisted that anyone who participates in the practice is “cowardly” and she hopes she never falls prey to it.
Ghosting refers to the practice of a person cutting off all communication with someone they have been dating in the hope that they get the message.

“It sounds extremely harsh and cowardly to me,” she said.
The term gained popularity after it was reported Hollywood actress Charlize Theron “ghosted” Sean Penn after he became too pushy about marriage.
Holly regularly writes about relationships on her blog and is not a fan of the A-list actress’ move.

“It takes balls to be honest with someone and end a relationship,” Holly explained.
“I think it’s fair enough to cut all ties after you break up and unfollow your ex on all social media platforms if you want.”
“But just blocking someone out without having the decency to talk to them and finish it properly is so disrespectful,” she told The Star.
It comes after Holly recently discovered someone has been pretending to be her on dating app Tinder.
