Holly Carpenter has proven that she’s got a heart of gold – as she delivered some much needed supplies to Dogs Trust yesterday.

It’s no secret that Holly’s a huge animal-lover, having rescued her own two dogs Gus and Toby from Dogs Trust, and now the brunette beauty is calling on the Irish public to donate to the rescue, or consider adopting their own pet.

Taking to Instagram, Holly posted a snap of herself and one of the rescue puppies along with the caption, “I dropped a food donation into @dogstrust_ire today where we adopted Toby & Gus from.”

I dropped a food donation into @dogstrust_ire today where we adopted Toby & Gus from. They’re always in need of blankets & food (pasta, dog food, peanut butter, hot dogs, tuna & treats) the staff work so hard in there to look after each dog they rescue and they’re under serious pressure at the moment due to a lack of space for all the puppies! ? I heard horror stories about two puppy farms that were found & shut down recently. The way some people treat animals is disgusting and heartbreakingly cruel? There are so many beautiful dogs in there, both young and old, with so much love to give that just need a home ? if you can’t commit to homing a dog for life you can help out by fostering a pup for a few weeks to take pressure off the staff & make room for more rescues ❤ #AdoptDontShop #DogsTrust #rescuedog #puppies #dogsofinstagram #beautiful #?

The brunette beauty, who documented her trip to Dogs Trust on her Snapchat, also wrote about the amount of gorgeous dogs looking for homes in the shelter, and urged people to consider adopting a rescue pet – rather than buying from breeders.
