It seems Garth Brooks may be heading to the Emerald Isle to see the upcoming play Are You There, Garth? It’s Me, Margaret.
The musical is based on Garth’s Croke Park gigs fiasco, the country singer was due to play in Ireland for the first time in 17 years with all five gigs being cancelled.
The show creator Darren Smith reportedly revealed that the country music star is very interested in coming to see the show.

“He knows about the show and we have been told he’s very interested and wants to come and see it,” he told the Irish Mirror.
“I wouldn’t be stunned at all if we had a special visitor in a Stetson next week,” he admitted.
Deirdre O’Kane is set to take the role of Margaret, a Garth fan whose hopes of escaping her housewife duties are dashed after the gigs are cancelled.

“It would warm the hearts and minds of Irish people to see Garth in the audience,” he added.
The hype surrounding the gigs caused outrage with his Irish fans, it seems he’s set to make it up to them with an appearance at the musical.
