RTE star George Hook has insisted that a woman’s sexiest thing is her mind – as “great tits wear off after a few minutes”.
The Newstalk presenter believes that “attraction is intellectual, not physical”, even if it is what causes an initial spark.
The 73-year-old said: “The sexiest thing in a woman is her mind. Even great tits wear off after a few minutes, the mind never does.
“And I have found that for women, it’s the same. Attraction is intellectual, not physical.

“I never looked like Rock Hudson, but when I was courting, I found that good looks might attract initial attention, but the mind was what kept it.
“Charm is underappreciated these days, and it’s something you have to to work at.”
But George – who lives with his wife, the ‘beloved’ Ingrid – hates that we now live in a society where looks are valued more than smarts.
“We live in a culture where looks are valued more than intelligence. I see my grandchildren, they define success in terms of how people look,” he told the Sunday Independent.
“If TV stations want to put out crap TV, that’s one thing; the problem is, our kids will look at it and think the only criteria for success is how they look.
“I have been extraordinarily lucky that I’ve been part of that generation of TV where looks were not so important.”
