James Patrice has revealed the cast and crew of Dancing with the Stars found out the next season was being postponed – just and hour and a half before the announcement.
The popular TV show, which has won Best TV Show at The Gossies three years in a row, will not be returning until 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to Ali Ryan on the latest episode of Goss Chats, James said it was clear the decision was “down to the wire”.
“We literally had no idea,” James said of the cast and crew.
“We found out like an hour and a half before it went out. Which I suppose goes to show probably how close to the wire it was.
“I’d say they were fighting until the bitter end for it to go ahead,” he admitted.
“It was such a shock,” he added.
