EXCLUSIVE! Rory O’Neill urges people to celebrate Gay pride in Dublin

Rory O’Neill has urged people to celebrate gay pride in Dublin, insisting the celebrations will be safe after the recent massacre in Orlando.

The activist, also known as Panti Bliss, has asked the Irish people to celebrate in their thousands.

“I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about anything at all,” the Mayo told Goss.ie.

Speaking at the launch of Panti’s Guide to Pride for Airbnb’s #HostWithPride, Rory said this year’s celebrations will be bigger and better than ever.

“In fact, I think that tomorrow’s Pride will be bigger and, in a sense, have more of a sense of purpose than it would if the horrible thing in Orlando hadn’t had happened,” Rory admitted.

“We don’t need to worry about anything, I don’t think so.

“This isn’t Orlando, we’re in Dublin.”
