Bridesmaids star Chris O’Dowd enjoyed his first big party since becoming a dad.
The husband of UK presenter and author Dawn O’Porter, left his wife at home to attend an exclusive Oscar bash this week.
Goss.ie can exclusively reveal that Chris, 35, Â attended an Irish Film Board party on Wednesday night, to celebrate Irish animated film Song of The Sea being nominated for an Oscar.
The Moone Boy star attended the event solo, which took place in famous hotspot The Den on Sunset Boulevard.

“Chris came to the party and he was lovely to everyone,” an insider told Goss.ie.
“He was in great form and was there to support the movie. He really didn’t stay that long, he’s a new dad now, he wanted to go back to his new family. He left early and was very sensible,” they added.
Other celebrities seen at the exclusive party for Cartoon Saloon included Dublin actress Caroline Morahan.
