George Hook has revealed that he wants Colin Farrell to play him in his erotic novel.
The broadcaster told Goss.ie that if his book was to be made into a movie that he wants the True Detective star to play him.
“I’d certainly think in my dreams I’m a Colin Farrell type of character so Colin Farrell would definitely be involved in the early part of it,” he said.

The 74-year-old radio presenter also had another Hollywood star in mind to play the sexual character.
“Then if we had an unlimited budget I think Martin Sheen would be perfect to play me in later life,” he said while enjoying a meal and drinks in Ballsbridge venue Roly’s Bistro.
The book, which has been branded as an erotic novel by critics is actually the story of an old man looking back on his working life as well as some more personal details.
“An old presenter is dying and he looks back on his life and there’s sex and intrigue and there’s corporate policy and there’s owners and there’s takeover bids so sex plays a part but it’s not a sex book,” he explained.

The book which will be a trilogy also has a main female character and George wants one very attractive Latino for the role.
“Well if I had casting power I would want J.Lo because I stay awake at night dreaming of J.Lo. I like girls with big butts,” he told Goss.ie.
When asked about choosing an Irish rugby player to play him the sporting pundit chose one famous Munster player.
“I have no doubt that I would want Ronan O’Gara to be me at about 35,” he revealed.
