Eoghan McDermott has revealed that it’s “pretty f***ing depressing” to be known as Niall Horan’s friend.
The TV host and the One Directioner have been pals for several years after they started hanging out when Eoghan lived in London.
However, the Voice of Ireland presenter is asked about the Mullingar pop star more often than he would like.

“I went on Brendan O’Connor one time…I had some really good London stories and I thought that if he asked me ‘What are you up to at the moment?’ I could give him some really interesting stories,” he told Hot Press Magazine.
“But all he asked me about was Niall Horan! And now with any journalist it’s kind of the standard.”
“And now with any journalist it’s kind of the standard. ‘You know Niall Horan!’ Which is, f***ing hell, it’s pretty depressing after a while to be defined by that.”
While Eoghan may not want to be known as Niall’s friend, the 31-year-old recently admitted he would love to have the singer join him on his 2fm show.
