Singer Ed Sheeran poured out his heart to Irish fans in the first of his two nights at Croke Park.
The award-winning musician took to the stage close to 8.30pm and told fans how much he loved Ireland.
“I played Wembley last week and I felt really nervous,” he told the 80,000 fans.

“But I felt nothing but excitement for this gig. Hand on heart you guys are always the best people in the world to play to,” he added.
During his sensational performance Ed revealed he found out this week that Ireland is his biggest market.
“I found out this week that my album X went ten times platinum here, meaning you are now my biggest market in the world,” he smiled.

While all eyes were on the flame-haired singer tonight, photographers caught rumoured love-interest Louise Johnston on her way into the gig.
The Dubliner looked chic in an all black outfit as she headed inside with friends.
