Michelle Dockery paid an emotional tribute at the funeral of her Irish boyfriend today.
John Dineen passed away from a rare form of cancer this week, and he would have turned 35 tomorrow.
The Downton Abbey actress had been in the US promoting the award-winning show but jetted to Ireland to be by John’s side this week.
According to the Irish Independent, Michelle spoke at the funeral in West Cork and called John her “King”.
“Whether in his work or his personal life John was extremely loyal,” she said.

“It was clear that when John was in your corner he was there. I was honoured to know John.
“To love him and be loved by him. He was my friend, my King, my hero, my everything. We celebrate him, we honour him and we will miss him,” she added.
Michelle and John had been introduced to each other by Downton Abbey star Allen Leech.
