Des Bishop made some shocking comments about his girlfriend live on air while being interviewed by Kathryn Thomas.
The comedian is dating Chinese actress Jin Li who he met on China’s version of Take Me Out and when quizzed about the relationship he didn’t think it would have lasted this long.
“I didn’t think we would make it through the summer, truth be told. She can’t speak English! It’s no problem, we can say what we want,” he said on RTE Radio One. Â

The 39-year-old also added that while his other half would struggle to get an acting role in Ireland she could star in Plough In The Stars.
“She could be Rosie, but instead of trying to get Fluther into bed, she could just give him hand jobs. Can I say that on radio?” he said to Kathryn.
“Massages I mean. ‘Ah the Chinese one gives a good aul massage,” he joked.
The American born funny man is dividing his time between Ireland and New York but insisted himself and Jin ‘get on great,’ he added.
