Dennis Quaid has officially apologised to Saoirse Ronan, for calling her ‘Sheesha’Â while announcing the 2016 Golden Globe nominees.
The 63-year-old was trolled on social media for mispronouncing the Carlow actress’ name as he real out the Best Actress nominations during a live stream back in December 2015.
Speaking to Ian Dempsey on Today FM, the Hollywood star exclaimed, “I apologise!”
“It’s alright. We’ve dined out on it over here!” Ian laughed.
During the interview, Dennis also revealed that his family are actually from Limerick.
