The IFTAs are set to return this year – this time on TV3.
The annual award ceremony boasts a high profile guest list, with stars like Colin Farrell, Jamie Dornan and Michael Fassbender all in attendance.
After the RTE aired show last year was described as a “shambles”, TV3 will now broadcast the show, this time hosting two separate ceremonies – one for TV and another for film.

“It’s moving closer to the UK where they have separate film and TV awards which recognise both industries,” a source told the Irish Sun.
“It will be the IFTAs, but not as you know them. Viewers will be getting something that is new, entertaining, lively and the public will be very happy with the changes.”
