Coldplay fans left fuming as thousands struggle to secure tickets for Dublin gigs

Coldplay fans were left fuming this morning, as thousands of fans struggled to get tickets for their Dublin gigs next year.

The popular band are bringing their Music Of The Spheres tour to Croke Park on Thursday, August 29th, and Friday, August 30th, 2024.

Over 100,000 people scrambled to get tickets during the first presale this morning, and while many made it to the top of the queue – they failed to get tickets as Ticketmaster directed them to a landing page, or served them with an error message.

Artist presale tickets went on sale at 10am on Tuesday, July 25th.

Meanwhile promoter presale (MCD Productions) tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, July 26th.

General tickets will go on sale on Friday, July 28th, at 10am.

Fans can buy a maximum of four presale tickets, and a maximum of six general sale tickets.

In even more good news, it’s been confirmed that Coldplay will make a limited supply of “infinity tickets” available to buy at a later date.

According to MCD Productions, “Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show to make the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible to fans for an affordable price.”

“They will cost the equivalent of €20 per ticket. They are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other).”

The only downside to infinity tickets is that you won’t be able to choose where you sit, so you may not have the best view in the house.
