Cathriona White was married to another man at the time of her death, it has been revealed.
The Tipperary native had been in an on and off relationship with movie star Jim Carrey since 2012 with the pair regularly spotted together.
However, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office confirmed that her body will be released to her next of kin, which is reportedly her unidentified husband.

Sources have revealed that the make-up artist was separated from the man in questions and had intentions to file for divorce later this year.
“There is no way that Jim would have taken her out to public places if he thought she was married,” the insider told PerezHilton.com
“As far as Jim was concerned, Cat was separated from her husband and was going to start divorce proceedings in December.

“When people are separated they date or do whatever they need to do,” they added.
Cathriona’s autopsy took place last Sunday with the results to be finalised within 8-12 weeks.
It comes after it was recently reported that Jim intends to come to Cappawhite in Tipperary for the 28-year-old’s funeral.
