Actress Caroline Morahan is set to host this year’s IFTAs.
The Dublin star will be taking over from last year’s hosts Laura Whitmore and Simon Delaney.
This year’s ceremony will be split into two, with the Film and Drama Awards first taking place on Sunday May 24th.
Former Off The Rails presenter Caroline will host the star-studded awards, which will then be broadcast on TV3 the next day.

Speaking about her new role Caroline said she was delighted.
“It’s a real honour to have been asked to host the Irish Film and Television Awards. It is such an important and prestigious event celebrating a wealth of homegrown talent in the film and television industry.”
Caroline is based in LA full time but often returns to Ireland for work, and is also the face of Littlewoods Ireland.

The IFTAs will take place at the Round Room of the Mansion House with stars like Colin Farrell and Michael Fassbender expected to attended.
