Actress Caroline Morahan has revealed living in LA can be dangerous – if you’re not grounded.
The former Off The Rails host moved to California in 2009 and has admitted life there is pretty surreal.
The Dublin star explained that the star-studded city of LA is a strange place to live.
“LA is a money-obsessed place,” she admitted.

“It is in permanent Celtic Tiger mode. People are very showy and ostentatious. It’s the kind of place where someone would drive a luxury car without being able to pay their phone bill.
“If you are not grounded and well-balanced it is a place where you could easily lose your perspective,” she explained.
Speaking to the Sunday Independent Caroline said she found it sad that more and more Irish talent are moving abroad to try and get work.

“It is sad when we see our talented young people leaving the country because they feel there is more opportunity elsewhere,” she said.
