Caroline Morahan has announced the birth of her second child with husband Daithi O’Caoimh.
The couple tied the knot back in 2012, and welcomed their first child Rowan in August 2019.
The Once Upon A Time star announced her second pregnancy back in September last year, and gave birth to a baby girl on January 9, who she named Ava Penelope.

Speaking to the Sunday Independent, the former Off The Rails presenter admitted she was “in denial” when her contractions began, thinking they were just “warning shots”.
She explained: “My husband was looking at me saying: ‘You’re nine months’ pregnant, you’re overdue, isn’t there a chance that this is it?’
“I was sitting on a yoga ball, breathing through intense contractions with Bake Off on the TV, telling myself this was just a rehearsal.
“We laboured at home and when I finally agreed it might be time for the doula to come, she told us to get ourselves to the hospital ASAP. Lucky she did as we would’ve had the baby in the car. We got to the hospital just in time.”

The mother-of-two is living in LA, and admitted she was looking forward to returning home to Ireland to introduce her family to Ava.
“It is difficult doing to juggle with a new baby and a toddler when you can’t have family or friends to help out, but that’s the reality for so many right now and I know we’re not alone.
“Everyone’s dying to meet Ava and see Rowan. Thank God for FaceTime,” she added.
“Our families have been able to be part of everything, despite the distance. We talk every day.”

Announcing her pregnancy at the time, Caroline shared a sweet snap of her son Rowan kissing her growing bump to Instagram.
She wrote: “Thank you Ms Kangaroo🦘for helping me explain there’s a new baby in Mamma’s tummy ❤️❤️❤️
“We are bursting with joy!! And judging by all the belly kisses, Rowan approves the new addition. 👶🏼”
