Voice of Ireland star Bressie has admitted he couldn’t spend Christmas with girlfriend Roz Purcell this year – because he hated being away last year.
The singer-songwriter spent the festive season with Roz last year in Lanzarote – an annual tradition Roz has been sticking to for years.
Roz is there again this year with her sister, with the pair taking part in an intense fitness camp.

But Bressie has revealed he couldn’t bring himself to leave Ireland for another Christmas.
“I was away last Christmas in Lanzarote,” he said.
“I was in a training camp and I hate it – absolutely hated it. Christmas isn’t a time to go away. I don’t care what anyone says.
